Meghan Kostashuk
Meghan is a 5th year Biochemistry Co-op student with a specialization in biomedical research. She is interested in the application of biomaterials on the nanoscale for improved delivery of radiopharmaceuticals for cancer treatment. She is aiming to start her Biomedical Engineering Master's in September 2024 at McMaster University, being co-supervised by Todd Hoare (McMaster University, Department of Chemical Engineering) and Hua Yang (TRIUMF). Outside of the lab, she enjoys weightlifting and hiking as well as playing guitar and singing. |
Joshua Mojica
Joshua returned in 2023 as a MSc student (SFU Chemistry) after 8-months COOP work. He is working on bifunctional chelator synthesis for antibody labelling and radioimmunoconjugate development. Out of work, Joshua's interest of chemistry, exploration and innovation further extends to the strong passion for cooking and the kitchen. He loves to explore my creativity in new ways by making different dishes and cuisines for friends and family. |
Lexi Gower-Fry (Co-supervised with Dr. Ralf Schirrmacher at Univ. of Alberta)
Lexi is currently a graduate student at the University of Alberta. She is working on developing bimodal imaging and therapeutic isotopes. She is not new to TRIUMF-- she previously worked on Hg-197 with Dr. Caterina Ramogida for her BSc (hon) in Chemistry and Chemistry and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at SFU. |
